A major supermarket is converting over 30% of its lorry fleet to run on HVO, aiming to cut its carbon footprint by around 15,432 tonnes of CO2 per year. This change will apply to over 160 HGVs operating from the supermarkets Cardiff, Swindon, and Neston distribution centres.
If rolled out across it’s full fleet of 550 HGVs, this switch could save an additional 55,130 tonnes of CO2 annually!
