Employers are responsible for checking that their grey fleet drivers have a valid driving licence if they are driving for work to ensure they meet all the necessary requirements.
This includes checking: licence validity, disqualifications, licence expiry date, which vehicles the driver is allowed to drive, offences and penalty points.
