How do I pay for fuel with a fuel card?

Paying with a fuel card is simple, you can use your fuel card as you would a credit or debit card.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Refuel Your Vehicle
  • Find a fuel station that accepts your fuel card and offers the fuel you want.
  • Fill up your vehicle as required.
  • If your card is restricted to a specific fuel, make sure that’s what you are using.
  1. Pay for your fuel
  • Present your fuel card to the cashier.
  • Enter your PIN code or provide a driver ID or vehicle registration number if required.
  • If you have the option to pay at the pump, simply use your fuel card as you would a credit or debit card.
  1. Collect your receipt
  • Once the transaction has been processed, you’ll receive a receipt.
  • Most companies also receive a monthly invoice detailing individual transactions.
  1. Additional purchases
  • Some fuel cards allow you to make additional purchases such as oil or car washes, others are restricted to fuel only.
